Versikerb traffic separators are a versatile and flexible delineation system - read more in this article detailing our top 4 ways to use traffic separators.
The unique Versikerb traffic separation system is ideal for separating lanes with a series of highly visible chevron delineation panels. Additionally, it can be installed as a collapsible delineator bollard system ahead of concrete barrier end treatments or crash cushions such as the TAU-II and Absorb 350, providing an additional level of alert to motorists ahead of the rigid structure of a crash cushion. The Versikerb system consists of dense plastic centre module, and a choice of single or double sided chevron panels that click in to the horizontal lane divider. Versikerb is regularly used to perform a wide range of road traffic management duties from lane separation to the prevention of corner cutting and increasing pedestrian safety. It can also be used for tidal flow as a moveable median unit.
Versikerb is ideal for efficiently redirecting traffic without needing excessive space on the road. It's compact design is an effective lane divider and is visible from a significant distance. When impacted, its rugged rubber construction returns to shape without ripping or cracking.
The interlocking sections can be installed around curves, and the high grip rubber conforms to the road surface, giving a strong grip that will not budge. The Versikerb can be fixed permanently to pavement or bolted together for temporary applications. Each segment is connected via an extremely solid moulded in hook, providing a reliable connection. Once installed it can be easily removed when the project is over, allowing it to be used multiple times on different jobs.
The 990mm flat face bollard with a flexible base easily attaches to the intermediate sections, creating an effective traffic separation system. Made from moulded plastic, the bollard panels return to their original position when struck. Each one has a moulded foot that rights itself when impacted. The chevron bollards feature CL1 reflective material and are available in right, left, and double sided configurations.
