Non Reflective Tapes
Barricade tape is a visual warning used to restrict access and cordon off areas, available in numerous colours and styles, but commonly incorporating a two-tone pattern of alternating colours like yellow and black or red and white, with blue and white barrier tape commonly used on rail work sites.
On civil and construction sites, barricade tape is used to notify the general public about ongoing work and the possibility of hazards.
Barrier tape in construction environments usually contains a yellow-black or red-white colour combination and incorporating text like “Danger” or “Danger Keep Out". This type of barrier tape is regularly found on Civil, construction and demolition work sites.
Used across Australia on rail and civil work sites to act as a type of barrier tape to control pedestrian foot traffic and low speed vehicle traffic, barrier tape is the cheapest and quickest way to erect a temporary barrier.
Installation is simple, just attach the barrier tape by wrapping or tying it to almost anything; it’s not unusual to see barrier tape tied to machinery after hours, but is commonly mounted to traffic cones, T-top bollards and star posts forming a more temporary barrier.
