Low Voltage Rescue Kit

This LV rescue kit is designed to be used by people adequately trained in performing rescue from a live low voltage panel. This kit is complete and ready for use when you need it in an emergency switchboard recue. This can help locate and isolate supply; protect the rescuer; retrieve the victim and also provide essential first aid.

This electrical first aid kit consists of a high visible yellow bag printed with LV RESCUE KIT. It contains high quality Honeywell 1000V insulating gloves, an ISOLATE HERE sign that can be hung near the main isolation point, insulated rescue crook, burns dressings and a torch, a fire blanket to put out any flames.

Complete with a lifesaving burns dressing. An “isolate here” sign is also included that can be hung near the main isolation point and a Low Voltage (LV) Crook to safely move an electrocuted person away from any danger spot.

The Low Voltage Rescue Kit is excellent for use by electricians working on switchboards and other low voltage power equipment. It assists an observer to safely help in the event of an electric shock or other injuries when working on LV switchboards in electricity supply and industrial substations. For maximum 1000 V application. Not approved for rescue from MV or HV switchboards. Safety training on how to use these items should be part of a regular workplace electrical first aid training scheme.
