Aftek Curecon PW30 Wax Curing Compound 200 L
Curecon PW30 is a Type 1-D, Class A, water based wax curing compound used to retain moisture in concrete for effective curing. Formulated for use primarily in the construction of concrete roads, Curecon PW30 offers a high level of moisture retention (97% efficiency for Type 1-D) thus ensuring efficient hydration of the cement component in the concrete mass.
In addition to its use in concrete road construction, Curecon PW30 is suitable for all use on all types of mass concrete structures where a high efficiency, wax based curing compound is required. This includes bridgework, airport hard standings, runways, truck parks, port facilities and more. Curecon PW30 is certified to comply with Australian Standard AS3799.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation:
The coating should be evenly sprayed onto the surface over the freshly laid concrete as soon as possible after final trowelling. Ideally Curecon PW30 should be applied as soon as the surface bleed water has evaporated.
Mixing:
Use Curecon PW30 as supplied – do not dilute. If the product has been stored for more than 6 months, particular care should be taken to ensure the product is thoroughly mixed before use.
Placement:
Curecon PW30 should be applied at a coverage rate not less than 5m2 per litre using a spray applicator - do not brush. Note it is not compatible with hydrocarbon solvent based primers and is not suitable for use on concrete surfaces that will be subject to line marking.
Clean Up:
Clean up with water while Curecon PW30 is wet. Dried Curecon PW30 can be removed using propriety paint strippers, Solvent 525 or by mechanical means.
Storage:Store in the original unopened containers in cool, dry conditions. Use within 12 months of date of manufacture.
