Case Study: Drainage grates for Sydney Football Stadium

The project

The NSW Government is redeveloping the Sydney Football Stadium into a modern, world-class venue, to ensure Sydney has a sporting and entertainment precinct of an international standard and that NSW remains the number one choice for sporting and entertainment events. As part of this project, the Construction Team engaged the Hydraulic Contractors to supply & install new stainless steel drainage to the bathrooms, change rooms and various wet areas within the facility.

The challenges

The iconic stadium in Moore Park required a user friendly, durable & easy to clean solution that was Australian Standards-3996 compliant and met the relevant design specifications. With demanding scheduling restrictions, the Project Team looked to JAYBRO for a readily available product that could be easily customised onsite.

Our solution

Looking for a sleek, minimalistic and seamless system, the Hydro Allure range offered an aesthetically pleasing and efficient solution for the iconic stadium.

Working closely with the hydraulic contractor, Jaybro worked to customise the Performer Series Allure Heelguard stainless steel grated drain and Allure stainless steel tile insert drain.

These units were installed into the internal change room areas and neatly met the public amenity floor drain requirements.

The Hydro Performer Series includes traditional square-style floor wastes and linear drainage systems, available with stainless steel or uPVC channels and accessories. This high-performance cost-effective range features architectural wedge wire grating and tile inserts that blend seamlessly with modern floor surfaces.

The Hydro Performer Series product range conforms with WaterMark Levels 1 & 2 and is ideal for bathrooms, showers, sports and leisure facilities, commercial kitchens, courtyards and many other wet area applications.
